Why Choose Reading-Berks Physical Therapy?

The Reading-Berks Family Program
At Reading-Berks Physical Therapy, the health and well-being of your entire family is our main priority. Our goal is to make sure that we help every individual who comes to our practice to achieve their goal of being restored to optimal physical condition. Through our state-of-the-art services, and our quality people and procedures, we provide physical therapy sessions for every member of your family – any generation! Whether you're dealing with a bone injury from your daughter falling off her bike, a shoulder injury from your son's high school football game, your back pain from working in the garden, or getting your mother back on her feet after a knee replacement – The Reading-Berks Family Program is designed to get your family back to the things they love to do!

The Reading-Berks Patient COMPASS™ Program (Core Objectives Management Plan and Success Strategy)
The Patient CompassOn their first day of therapy, every patient of Reading-Berks is enrolled in our Patient COMPASS™ Program. COMPASS™, which stands for Core Objectives Management Plan and Success Strategy, is a jointly established program where the therapist and patient work together to establish the long-term goal(s), as well as individual short terms goals that will be reached along the way.

The Patient COMPASS™ is personalized by identifying key milestones for therapy to make sure that the patient is heading in the right direction, and is designed to reinforce and to map out the patient's progress at every step. Reading-Berks also offers encouragement and incentives for staying the course and crossing some of the mutually established goals.

Dedicated Therapy Team™
Every patient that comes into one of our Reading-Berks locations is assigned a Dedicated Therapy Team™, which includes your very own dedicated physical therapist and physical therapist assistants, who are there for every single visit, whether it is for one week or one month – however long it takes! We understand that a key to the success of physical therapy is a consistent commitment – on behalf of the patient, but also on behalf of the therapy team.

Reading-Berks HealthCoach™
We believe that it is imperative to teach our patients the importance of physical therapy for keeping the body functioning at its optimal ability. Beyond relief from just aches and pains, physical therapy treatments help keep the musculoskeletal system healthy. We know how important it is in the prevention of injuries to lead a healthy lifestyle, so in addition to being your in-house health coach, we also provide health maintenance through our partnerships with local fitness centers.

We are Doctors!
With Reading-Berks, you have direct access to our many Doctors of Physical Therapy, who supervise your care. Many of our 15 physical therapists have a combination of doctorate levels of education, specialty certifications, and/or over 25 years of experience. We also offer a team of certified and licensed athletic trainers who keep your athletes safe and healthy at local high schools and colleges.

Reading-Berks Patient Surveys
We are obsessed with the satisfaction of our patients, so we are always looking for ways to improve the services that we provide, and the facilities that our patients visit. Every single patient receives a satisfaction survey and we regularly analyze the responses and implement changes that improve our practice.

Physician Referrals
Here at Reading-Berks, we know how important it is for local physicians to have a physical therapist that they can trust to refer their patients.
